Moab, UT

Explored Moab in Utah on a recent trip, & was able to capture the beautiful landscape. I was able to shoot a couple rolls of 35mm in Colorplus200 film stock, which helped capture some of the unique colors that you can only capture here.

Yellowstone

A big part of my Yellowstone trip was to try out a couple different cameras & see how it compares with the digital versions. Overall it was interesting to see how film and digital differentiate themselves especially in the edit.

The Spring on Film

Grand Prismatic Spring had these breathtaking colors that seem so otherworldly, and I wanted to see how those colors would pop differently on film. Mostly shot with Portra400.

Black & White

This is a niche area but occasionally I find expired rolls of film or even a disposable camera. The resulting images produce artifacts, inaccurate colors, & hazy images. While less likely to get a usable image, it’s a fun medium to explore & the results are always surprising.

Exploring Utah

I’m always down for an adventure & Utah is perfect for that. Even if the end goal isn’t to capture photographs I can usually get a couple photos that I’m really proud of, even if they’re not connected to a bigger story.

Salt Lake City

Photos taken over 2-3 years while living in Downtown Salt Lake City.

Expired 35mm

This is a niche area but occasionally I find expired rolls of film or even a disposable camera. The resulting images produce artifacts, inaccurate colors, & hazy images. While less likely to get a usable image, it’s a fun medium to explore & the results are always surprising.
